بلغت أعداد ضحايا إعصار "هايان" ما لا يقل عن 10 آلاف شخص. كما خلف الإعصار الذي يعتبر الأعنف في تاريخ البلاد، خلف دماراً هائلاً في مدن الفلبين.وتستمر حملات الإغاثة والمعونة المحلية منها والدولية في محاولة لملمة جراح المدن المدمرة.
